Ayam Penyet Ria @ Lucky Plaza

Albert, Joanna and myself usually have our lunch within the vicinity of Raffles Place.

However, when one of us have a craving for Chicken Rice or Ayam Penyet, we would travel all the way down to Lucky Plaza at Orchard Road.

The Ayam Penyet at Ayam Penyet Ria, is really the best Ayam Penyet I have tried.

I cannot find any words to describe the food there, but one thing I can rave about is the Chilli. The chilli is damm nice, SEDAP!!!!! You have to try it to believe it!!!

You place and pay for your order at the counter first, then they will serve the food to you.

$27.40 for three of us, for a set of Ayam Penyet each, a bowl of Kerupuk (crackers) and a drink each, not too bad ah? I think $9 per person for a meal like this is well worth it!

This is the drink that Albert loves!! Its call Happy Soda, its really just Bandung and Soda lah, I don't really fancy this drink.

If you want to avoid the crowd, try not to dine here during lunch and dinner hours, if not try to be early. They are so popular that they used to only have one branch in Lucky Plaza itself, but now they have two. One on the first level, and one on the fourth level. They also have one branch at Tampines Mall and Jurong Point each. Four branches in total.

The Kerupuk here is great! Dip them into the Sambal, and its just heavenly!

This is the much talked about Ayam Penyet Ria Ayam Penyet.
One set comes with a Smashed Chicken (which is literally what Ayam Penyet means), some Kang Kong, a fried Tauhu (beancurb) and Tempe (beancake).

Go try it for yourself, and you will know exactly what I mean.
Remember, indulge in the Sambal Chilli, because its simply SHIOK!

Not every Ayam Penyet is nice though. I have tried some that taste really bad.
