Glasses

A thought came to my mind this afternoon while I was working.

A fellow colleague was putting on glasses, for the first time, since I have known him.
Not because he wants to, but because he has minor short-sightedness.

This makes me wonder:
Why are people with myopia doing lasik surgery so they would be free from glasses;

WHILE

People with perfect eyesight chooses to wear funky and geeky glasses, all in the name of fashion?

Contradicting, isn't it?
