TGIF - Party Time

Thank God its Friday. Before I left office, I decided to take some pictures.

Wall of Fame - Top performers pictures will be posted here.

Courier box. Cute.

I like this paper pasted at Pau's cubicle. "Just Keep Calling".

Ronald posing cheekily as usual. Haha

My corner.

My desk.

My team game. Deal or no deal.

God of Fortune just outside my call floor door.

Reception area.

After work, we proceeded to Blue Blazze for some drinks to warm up. Then we went over to Jewel for actual clubbing. We clubbed till about 5am, I think. Tired, but fun. But could have been better, if everyone knows everyone better.

Group Photo

Jennefer and Pauline singing. They sang pretty well.

Like what they say, Filipinos are good at singing.

Playing pool. Mavis rushed over to tell me,"Marc, your friend very good lor, he spoilt the pool table!" Haha. Its Uzair.

By 1am, all the drinks are finished.

I did not want to stay there further as everything in BB that day sucks. Music was bad. Can't hear the sound from the mic. TV also got problem. Lighting also sucks, so bright, they think we are having lessons in school ah. They just changed ownership, thats why la.

I itchy hand. Other people taking pictures.

A barrel of beer

We proceed to Jewel at around 1.30am? Forgot to check the time. When we reached the door, I saw Ash's "cousin", Silence. See I still remember his name. I approached him and he remembered me so we got all out cover charges waived off. We ordered a bottle of Chivas.

Pau and Uzair were super hyper that day. They danced non stop. As for me, I was rather tired so I sat on the couch most of the time.

Some photos.

Uzair

Drinks

Candlelight

This looney Caucasian danced from the door all the way to our table and behaved like a clown. Looked like he was super high.

Like I said, Uzair and Pau were hyper. Haha

Jennefer and Alex

This is a funny shot at the spur of the moment. I thought this angle looked like Alex was kissing Uzair.

I did not expect Uzair to dance so well. He was Livin la vida loca-ing the whole night away.

Uzair 'proposed' to Alex.

Then Jennefer had to go back as her housemates were waiting for her at home. And since everyone were tired, we ended the night.

A visit to Chinatown

Went to Chinatown walk walk on Wednesday with Randy, Christina, Paul and Joshua.

Streets filled with people

Randy and Paul's back

Chinese ornaments

This shop caught my attention. Apparently very famous peanuts.

A bunch of pomelos
Randy happily trying everything he sees.
Really pretty CNY decoration along Chinatown's main road.

Video of CNY street. In the background, you will hear a man selling "Guo Dong" as in Taiwanese Jelly. Famous snack for CNY.

Paul selecting some sweets for his home.

Chinese new year? I don't really celebrate CNY anymore. This year Paul and Esther jie invited me to their house for reunion dinners. Most prob I will go to Esther's since its her first time inviting me and I want to see Wallace (her son).

Really appreciate all these friends remembering me and always inviting me for reunion year after year.

Thanks Paul and Esther, love you guys.

Great Advertising in other countries

Life-size stickers of people were stuck on automatic sliding doors at a mall in Mumbai , India . When someone approaches, the doors move apart and it feels like the people on the door are moving away. The person entering finds the message, 'People move away when you have body odour'.

Cool advertisement found in Malaysia . A sticker was placed on the high voltage box depicting that powerful Duracell batteries were used.

An ambient exercise to promote Eatalica burgers. A 'Caution - Wet Floor' board was placed near an Eatalica burger signboard. The copy on the board reads, 'Oogling at the burger may involuntarily cause drooling, which may in turn lead to a wet floor. Issued for your safety by the management of Eatalica Restaurant'. (Eatalica is an American-Italian food joint in Chennai , India .)

A giant mirror was built that allowed passers-by to stop and look at themselves wearing Indivi clothes at a shopping mall in Tokyo , Japan .

Advertisements for a job-recruiting company in Berlin , Germany depict people working in vending machines and ATMs. It delivers the message, 'Life is too short for the wrong job'.

Stickers were placed in selected car park locations and car workshops where M-Tech Plasma HID lights are sold in Malaysia It delivers the message that these headlights are 300% brighter than regular headlights. The burn-effect sticker from the headlights really leaves an impression.

In another creative idea by The Fitness Company, 'dumbbells' were placed at various subways in New York City , which create an illusion that the person holding the safety bar is doing weights.

A very cost-effective advertisement in Hong Kong for a yoga school showcases the prowess of a yoga practitioner on the flexible stems of drinking straws Enquiries and enrolment went after up this promotional stunt.

A creative ad by Mini Cooper placed at the Zurich , Switzerland train station, shows people climbing into or out of the car, when they are actually entering or exiting stairs.
