The Theme Song for the latest Channel 8 drama, No Limits 泳闯琴关, is very nice and inspiring!

However, I don't know if anyone notices that the chorus sounds uncannily like the Theme Song for The Golden Path 黃金路. If you don't believe me, play both choruses and judge for yourself. :)

Not again? Why can't she just behave? Goodness!

My dislike for her has just gone 2 notches higher.

My question is, why did her friend not help her with her luggage?

And if she is so particular about someone helping her with her luggage, why did she not flare up at her friend?

Also, when she starting hitting the taxi driver "below his belt", why did her male companion not stop her?

She has to behave, does she realise she is a public figure?

红星大奖 at Resorts World Sentosa

Got tickets to the Star Awards 2010. This time round, I went with Joanna, Serene and Penny.

Actually after I attended last year's Star Awards, I wasn't very keen to attend again this year. But since it was in a different venue, and since I have not been to Resorts World Sentosa, I decided to go afterall.


Walked around since we were early.


First Victoria Secret Store in Asia.

Had light dinner at Toast Box / Bread Talk.

The Bread Talk here sells extremely novel cakes and patries.

So appropriate, since we are in the heart of the Casino! HUAT ah!

We arrived at the Convention Centre, and waited for another hour, before we were ushered into the hall!

JJ Lin Junjie's fans! Boy, they were really loud throughout the show.

I didn't bring camera this year because last year there was this very strict and on-the-ball usher-auntie, who came over and stopped me whenever I whipped my camera out.

On the contrary, this year everyone was allowed to take pictures!!! Haiz...

After I attended two Star Awards "live", I concluded that watching Star Awards at the comfort of my own home / bed would be a better choice. I believe Serene will agree!

Phua Chu Kang Sdn Bhd

In case you are wondering, why its Phua Chu Kang Sdn Bhd and not Phua Chua Kang Pte Ltd, thats because in the latest season of PCK, they have moved to Malaysia!

Was surfing Youtube when I came across this super lame video to promote PCK, in the expense of Ris low, AGAIN!

Can you guys just give this poor girl a break?




IMHO, I feel PCK is losing its originality and humour, maybe they should just make this season their last?

Baby Bonus (添丁发财)

Have completed all 23 episodes of Channel 8 drama, Baby Bonus, 添丁发财, starring Felicia Chin 陈靓瑄 and Tay Ping Hui 郑斌辉.

Hehe, thanks to Singtel MioTV MobTV Select again.

Overall, I have been very much entertained by this drama series.
Of course the ending is predictable, a happy ending, typical of all Mediacorp family-oriented dramas.


Other than great acting from most of the supporting cast including Xiang Yun, Zhu Hou Ren, Apple Hong and Jesseca Liu, the one person I look forward to see in every episode, is the very very cute, adorable, cheerful and super likeable baby boy, Olympic.

If you have been watching the drama, you would know exactly what I mean.

He is sooooo cute....

BEFORE THE NEWS WAS PUBLISHED:
A not-so-pretty B-minus-C-List actress, comedienne, host, shopping diva, was SEEN and HEARD creating a scene in a gay party yesterday 21 June 2009.

It was heard that this slim celebrity accused a tall, handsome, 30-something, established GAY yuppy of molesting her on her private part just outside the premises of the gay club. It was apparent this dude accidentally tripped and fell and unknowingly "touched" her, and promptly apologized for his SINFUL doing. Sinful not because he touched her, but sinful because his hands were dirtied touching this comedienne, famous for uglifying herself (don't need much effort though) in Jack Neo's Variety Programs in the late 90s.

After the dude apologized to her, she insisted it was deliberate, and the bouncers had to step in to try to calm her down.

Now it is pretty (ugly) obvious who this celebrity is, because she is also famous for hanging around in gay bars, every weekend.

I used to be very neutral about her, but I guess after this incident, she would probably go into my "hatelist" now, together with a certain "Growing Up" C-list actor who also made headlines yesterday (21 June 2009) in Lianhe Wanbao, claiming to be a philantrophist, when he is just a philanderer!

The said actress is Ann Kok and the said actor is Dai Yang Tian.

All these have been confirmed in Zaobao and Wanbao. They have also admitted that was not the first time they went out.

Conclusion: Ann Kok is dating Dai Yang Tian!

A certain hot buxom actress, recently seen in a more mumsy light on Channel 8, holding hands with an equally hot, but much younger rising actor at Cold Storage in Cluny Court.

They disengaged palms the moment they saw a flicker of recognition in the eyes of a fellow grocery shopper.

Perhaps the surprise couple thought they were more likely to run into expats rather than Chinese drama fans in Bukit Timah?

About a decade separates cougar and prey, which makes them more Jen Aniston and John Mayer (eight-year age gap), less Demi and Ashton (16 years).

I have made mine and I am quite (90%) sure of the female lead in this scandal. Let me give you a clue. A mother with a rebellious son (with a HEAVY SCHOOL BAG), with a gay husband! LOL.

As for the "younger rising actor", its not that difficult to guess, since there aren't many hetrosexual male rising stars left in that hill.

Star Awards 2009 红星大奖

Shawn got me a pair of tickets to the Star Awards 2009, so I asked my sis along.

This was the queue 30 mins before we were allowed to go into the threatre.

Before the show started.

Fans of various artiste.

Channel 8 news was on the big screen while we waited for Star Awards to be filmed and telecasted live on Channel 8.

See that big pink chinese character? That is "Ping" which stands for Yvonne Lim. Yvonne's fans are fanatical man! They were practically yelling the whole evening!

Can you see that pink character again? haha...

Yes, this "Fa' is right beside me, and that definitely stands for the "Fa" in Fang Zhan Fa, which is Pierre Png. Pierre's fans, on the other hand, were very well behaved, they probably only yelled once, which was the time his name was called when the stars paraded themselves at the start of the show.

Yes, you are right. Right above Yvonne's fans are Dai Yangtian's fans. Dai Yangtian is one of the hottest, and fastest rising male star in Mediacorp now! Super handsome, because I saw him once in Orchard before!

And this neon lighted character is "Wu", which is the "Wu" in Qi Yuwu.

I was stopped by a nosey "security cum usher" thus throughout the entire Star Awards, I was not able to take any pictures, sorry for that. She was like ALL OUT to catch fans with camera man!!! She just stood in one position, and scanned the audience like throughout the ceremony! She just spoilt everything la, because many people, just like me, wanted to get a picture or two of our favourite artiste.

And when I finally could whip out my camera, it was the end of the show.

When that nosey aunty finally stopped standing where she stood, to get back to her position for the after show ushering, I quickly snapped a few shots of the Top 10 Male/Female Artistes on stage!

Some of the stars spotted that evening before the show, at the Mediacorp Reception:

- Huang Biren, alighted from her husband's car, spotted with a huge pair of shades.

- Christopher Lee, alighted from a cab, looking down all the way from the time he alighted till he got into Mediacorp.

- Huang Shinan, looking around at the reception, don't know looking for what, thereafter disappeared.

- Lin Qi Yuan, came out from the reception, and walked down the reception stairs.

Some others spotted at Mediacorp:

- David Gan, with his PA, made a big hoohaa because I think the receptionist didn't know who he was and asked for an entry pass. HILARIOUS!

- Addy Lee, with Shawn.

- Sean the blogger, attended the ceremony, seated right in front of me. Don't think he recognized me at all! LOL.

- Shawn, my friend, the one who got me the tickets. Was there to help Monsoon to style the Monsoon gang.

- Clarence Lee, one of the top make-up artiste in Singapore.

- Johnny Khoo, one of the top stylist in Singapore.

Hai, how come I didn't spot Fann, Felicia or Jeanette? Haha...

Anyway, to conclude this whole experience of watching the Star Awards "live", I would like to say that its not for someone like me. I think I still prefer to watch it at the comfort of my own home, and I think I can also hear clearly what the stars said while accepting their awards.

The sound from the mic was quite bad (Soft), since it was a live recording in a studio, thus, most of the time me and my sister couldn't make out what they were saying at all. The incessant yelling and screaming from the fanatical fans didn't help either!

Next year 红星大奖? I think I shall stick to my TV!

Nat Ho (鹤天赐) is friendly!

Its official, Nat Ho is friendly, no airs whatsoever.

Alright, lets set the record straight, he should not be proud to begin with, since he is not a "BIG-enough" star, but he is much friendlier than I expected.

Today Nat was filming in Raffles Place since morning, and when Albert, Kay and I were walking to Golden Shoe for lunch, we spotted him again along our way. We glanced at him, and surprisingly, he smiled at us, and nodded his head. Its cool that he actually acknowledged us.

The next thing that happened was so funny! Kay, all of a sudden, waved at him, and guess what? Nat waved back! LOL. I almost flipped.

The three of us laughed in unison, and Nat broke into laugher too.

Funny... We then turned around and walked towards Golden Shoe.

I was then telling Albert and Kay, how this whole blog post would have been totally different, if Nat did not acknowledge us, or if he had ignored Kay's wave. The write-up might turn out like this:

Today while Albert, Kay and I were walking to Golden Shoe for lunch, we saw Nat Ho filming. When we looked at him, he did not bother to look at us, as usual, like all other C-list celebrities, who always think they are very famous / popular. The worst part is, stupid Kay actually waved at him, thinking he would reciprocate. And guess what? Not only did Nat not wave back, he had this arrogant look on his face like we were star struck fans looking at him in awe. Gosh, Nat is proud!

ROFLMAO.

Am I so f**king right?

Star Awards 2009 (红星大奖 2009)

Yippee, thanks to Shawn, I got a pair of tickets to the Star Awards 2009, 红星大奖!

This year I suddenly felt like attending it, so I just casuallly asked Shawn if he could get the tickets for me because his friend works in Mediacorp.

BINGO!

His friend happens to be the producer (or some sort) of this year's Star Awards, thus it wasn't a difficult task.

And today he handed me a pair of tickets!
